Lenmark is continuing to invest in new fuel stations across our sites. These containerised fuel units allow us to store and dispense diesel directly on site for both plant and the Lenmark van fleet.
Instead of relying on commercial petrol stations, we can now buy diesel in bulk at more competitive rates. In the current market, where fuel prices can move quickly, this gives the business far better control of one of our biggest running costs.
Each Lenmark van will be issued with a dedicated access fob to use the site pump, and every piece of plant will operate with its own unique PIN number. This means we can monitor fuel use properly, reduce waste, and ensure diesel is only used where it should be.
It is another practical step in tightening our systems, controlling costs, and making sure Lenmark remains competitive while continuing to support our sites with the resources they need to deliver.
